Nike Basketball’s Spring 2009 has shown us that there have been less and less signature shoes aside from Lebron’s and Kobe’s. This Nike Zoom MVP X looks like it will serve as Steve Nash’s signature shoe for the second half of the 2008-09 NBA Season, yet the word on the street is that this shoe will also be worn by other Nike Basketball Guards such as Derron Williams and Brandon Roy. The Zoom MVP X features a lower cut silhouette and an outsole that resembles Nike Free shoes. It seems that Nike has taken inspiration from various things to design and create a shoe that not only fits better for a Guard but also enables them to move quicker and stay light on their feet.
